Fall 2009 Season Notes

The Fall 2009 soccer season start is roughly one month away.

The coach's meeting will be 9/2.  The times and location to be determined.

The season starts 9/12 and runs through 11/7.

Roster changes can commence 8/22 through 8/28 at no charge.   They will be frozen from 8/29 through 9/2.  They open again on 9/3 but each add will cost $10.00 from this on until they close on 10/6.

There will be a couple of U10 rule changes for Middlesex Youth Soccer League play this season:

• There will be no restrictions on distance for goal kicks.
• The restriction for throw ins and punts will be to the opposing penalty area and not mid field.

There is another change that will not take effect but will be allowed on a town by town basis.

• The U10 goal size (6' x 12') will be the same at U12 goals (6' x 18')
• Middlesex rules will be changed to allow towns the option to use either size goals for U10 games.  Just be aware that a town may use the larger goals.
